Things Heard 'Round the Trailer Park

A nice lady comes into my office today...

"Hello, I am ( ) and live up the road here. I just wanted to let you know that I used to run a cleaning business and I am really good at cleaning rentals. So if you have any work for me let me know. Oh and could you please pay me under the table in cash because I am getting unemployment and don't want to mess it up."


Yeah...totally going to hire her.



It is people like her who should be billed for the taxes we honestly pay to pay for her dishonest unemployment. Blegh!

Things Heard 'Round the Trailer Park

Yesterday Vick was showing a unit. Vick explains that the rent is 575.00 with a 450.00 deposit. The man he was showing it to looks at him and says "you mean I have to pay that every month?".

Uh....yeah...that is what you do when you rent a place.

Later this same man comes in to the office to get an application and asks me ..."uuhhhh if I am unemployed will that keep me from being able to rent here?"


I do not foresee a future tenancy for this man here.

Trashout Loot

We have tenants abandon their units more often than we care to mention...most of the time leaving them trashed. Sometimes we are able to get something good out of it. I would say our latest score is the best yet.Yeah...a lady left all her belongings in her trailer. We gave her over a week to come get them. Her loss=our gain...this was some saweet trashout loot that we scored. A 42 inch LCD TV...FREE!! Our viewing pleasure has just increased ten fold.

I have already used the lotion and perfume and they are quite lovely. I think we are going to take the Ped Egg back to the store and get 10 bucks for it.

Totally Cluless

Today we got a call from a tenant whom we evicted from our property for non-payment as well as domestic disturbances. She owes us around $1400.00. She asked us when she could expect her security deposit back.

seriously?...seriously?!?!
